to make someone adopt radically different beliefs by using systematic and often forcible pressure, especially through the use of torture, drugs, or psychological-stress techniques.

The Brainwashers is a tribute to Banksy, an anonymous England-based graffiti artist, political activist and film director. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humor with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique.

This piece is currently on exhibit at The Carver Center San Antonio, Texas February 24th - April 15th, 2022.
