The principal motivation for HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) is authentication and protection of the integrity of the exchanged data. It protects against man-in-the-middle attacks and the bidirectional encryption protects against eavesdropping and the manipulation of communication.

I parallel HTTP (Honoring Those That Passed) protocol with the principles we as a culture need to apply to our heritage, legacy, and all who came before us. As we move forward let us not exploit ourselves or allow those who do not appreciate our value to capitalize off of our greatness.
